A multi-level ipe deck under a cedar pergola, lit for the hour after supper.

Elbow Park lots are tight and the trees are older than the houses. We dropped a low ipe platform around a fire table, then raised a second sitting level under a cedar pergola. String lights are integral. The wiring runs inside the beams, not stapled to them. The whole thing is built to take a wet September and still look like it was oiled that morning.
