A small replacement landing at the back door. The old one was rotten through.

Not every deck is a room. This one is a stoop: a clean cedar floor, a low step, enough room for a barbecue and a pair of boots. The boards that came out were grey, cupped, and holding water against the siding. We rebuilt the landing, flashed the door, and left the yard alone. Two days on site.
